HID: High Intensity Discharge

Do you make them in the UK?
| Yes, all main line lamps are manufactured in the UK |
Can I upgrade the wattage of my bulb?
| This is possible with most lamps but would require a change of bulb holder, bulb and possibly reflector. Please refer to your stockist/distributor for confirmation and more details. |
Which bulbs can I use?
| Always use Clulite bulbs as we choose the best performance and most efficient for our applications |
Can I leave my lamp on permanent charge?
| No unless it has a permanent charger supplied or you use the vehicle charging lead supplied with the 12v packages |
How long do I charge my battery for?
| This is dependent on the model you have, correct charging times can be found in your instruction leaflet. |
How often do I charge my lamp when not in use?
| Always charge your lamp immediately after use however if not in regular use it is recommended to charge your lamp every 3 months Do not store discharged |
My lamp does not produce a good beam anymore?
| This usually means the lamp has had a knock and the bulb has lost its focus or the wrong bulb has been fitted. Instructions on how to re-focus are supplied with the lamp and are also in the workshop manual which can be supplied on request. |
My lamp will not light up...
| The most important thing to check is the bulb and fuse. Always make sure your leads have not come disconnected from the battery. All these instructions are in your user manual. |
What is my average battery life?
| The more it is used the longer it will last but the average life of a battery is 3-5 years |
What is HID?
| High Intensity Discharge bulbs, produce light by creating and sustaining an electrical discharge between two electrodes sealed inside a small glass capsule. Resulting in an arc of xenon gas and an efficient and powerful bright white light which will give much better definition on the target. |
Which LED lamps do Clulite use ?
